Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is an incredibly supportive environment for music therapists and employs over a dozen MT-BCs nationwide. Several music therapists are in key leadership positions in the organization including Russell Hilliard, PhD, LCSW, LCAT, MT-BC who serves nationally as our Vice President and Jenna Justice, MM, MT-BC who serves as our Director of Supportive Care. Our music therapists at all of our sites are an integral part of the interdisciplinary hospice team and many serve as mentors for music therapy interns as well.
Qualifications:
- MT-BC credential
- HPMT designation desirable (see www.hospicemusictherapy.org for details)
- Previous hospice experience desirable
- Ability to work autonomously
- Previous music therapy internship supervision experience desirable
- Dependable and disciplined, yet flexible
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Population: Hospice patients and families in homecare settings as well as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and inpatient hospice throughout our service areas.
Starting date: Immediately. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. Up to $2000 relocation reimbursement available.
