What is MTAK?

The Music Therapy Association of Kentucky (MTAK) is a professional organization for music therapists and music therapy students. MTAK provides continuing education, community service, and fellowship.

MTAK is an active member of the Southeast Region of the American Music Therapy Association (SER-AMTA), and MTAK members regularly serve regional and national leadership roles. MTAK proudly hosted the 2006 SER-AMTA Regional Conference in Louisville, and MTAK welcomed the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) National Conference to Louisville during November 2007.

For a music therapy student or professional, MTAK provides countless opportunities for leadership, service, and professional development.
